Bahadur Madhani, CM

Director

Bahadur Madhani, an accountant by training, has been a director since March 31, 2006. Since 1983, Mr. Madhani's principal occupation has been President and CEO of Equiprop Management Limited, a Canadian property management company of which he is the principal shareholder. At present, he is also on the Board of the YMCA of Toronto and YMCA Canada. He was previously a member of the advisory board of Quebecor Ontario. He has also served as Chairman of United Way of Toronto, Chairman of the YMCA of greater Toronto, and Chairman of the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund of Canada. Mr. Madhani was awarded membership in the Order of Canada in 2001.

Kenneth Keirstead has served as a director of Intellipharmaceutics Inc. since 2006. Mr. Keirstead is educated in clinical biochemistry and business administration. He has worked in the health care delivery and pharmaceutical industries for over 45 years. He was President and CEO of Sanofi Winthrop Canada Inc., General Manager of Squibb Medical Systems International, President of Chemfet International and President of Quinton Instruments, among other positions. He has published studies and reports on health care and related services. Since 1998, Mr. Keirstead's principal occupation has been Executive Manager of the Lyceum Group, a Canadian consulting services company primarily active in the health care field, of which he is the founder.

Norman M. Betts, PhD.

Director

Dr. Norman M. Betts is a Professor, Faculty of Business Administration, University of New Brunswick (UNB) in Fredericton and is a member and Fellow of the New Brunswick Institute of Chartered Public Accountants (FCPA) and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D).   He holds a PhD in Management (1991) from Queens University. From 1999-2003, Dr. Betts was a Member of the Legislative Assembly in New Brunswick and served as Minister of Finance and Minister of Business New Brunswick.

Dr. Betts is active in the Public and Private sectors, having served on numerous corporate and crown corporation boards including the Bank of Canada, Export Development Canada, New Brunswick Power, Tembec, Canada House Wellness Group and several other publicly traded companies in the mining, technology and cannabis industries.  He also serves as an elected faculty member on UNB’s Board of Governors and is co-chair of the Board of Trustees of the UNB Pension Plan for Academic Employees.

Shawn Graham

Director

Shawn Graham is the former Premier of the province of New Brunswick, Canada and was elected to the board of directors at Intellipharmaceutics in May 2018. As Premier he was committed to positive transformations in education, taxation and health care. Mr. Graham is President and CEO of G&R Holdings Inc., where he and his team assist companies to develop and implement global projects and business alliance strategies focused on globalization with China. Mr. Graham has been named Visionary of the Year by the Intelligent Community Forum in New York and is Past Chair of the Council of The Federation, which comprises of the premiers of each of Canada's 13 provinces and territories. He is also Past Co-chair of Northeastern Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers Association, and Co-chair of Pan-Canadian Trade Mission to China.

Volunteer activities include serving as a national director for Ducks Unlimited (Canada), North America’s leading wetlands conservation organization.
